First Tee is an international youth development organization the game of golf and its inherent values to young people. Through after school and in school programs, we help shape the lives of young people from all walks of life by reinforcing values like integrity, respect and perseverance through the game of golf. As of now there are First Tee programs at Hogan Park Golf Course, Nueva Vista Golf Club, and Ranchland Hills Golf Club. Nueva Vista Golf Course is the only First Tee Program on the west side of Midland.

High schools use Nueva Vista to practice. FORE Midland would like to increase the number of students that practice there. Whether it is more high school teams, Junior high teams, homeschool groups, or afterschool programs. Golf should be accessible to all children.

During the summer every Wednesday evening couples get together to support the JR PGA League kids and have a blast doing it!! Each couple pays $50 to participate ($25 per person is not a bad date night) in different game formats each week. Couple are paired with different couples each week which allow people to meet new couples they would otherwise not know. 

New couples who have come to Midland find it a great place to meet new people and connect. Others who have lived here longer find it a relaxing way to connect with other adult couples. This League connects people to the Midland community and builds lifelong friendsh

Jr PGA League is offered during the summer at Nueva Vista. It is partially funded by funds raised from the Couples Golf League also held at Nueva Vista

Hosted by Nueva Vista after the JR. PGA League for kids of the program to compete with their parents or family members against other family teams.

By preserving the golf course, we will be preserving the wildlife that calls it home. So future Midland children can be amazed by nature there like many children before them.
